JDay Engineering was formed in 1999 by James Day. As a lad James had grown up playing with motor cars and even before he had his driving licence he was buying and selling them. J Day Engineering started life with James buying, selling, repairing and modifying the seminal hatch of the eighties and nineties, the Peugeot 205. This love affair quickly flourished and J Day Engineering now specialises in cars and vans. The business has really grown over the last 10 years, but still has the friendly atmosphere of a family owned business.
Peugeot 205’s have long been the core of our business. The 205 GTi in particular. This is a car that has excited the motoring press and drivers alike for almost 20 years. Peugeot is now one of the most profitable motor manufacturers out there. It’s not hard to see why. Solid, reliable and dependable their products certainly are. They are also exceptionally fun to drive. From the 205 GTi to the 106 Rallye, to the 306 GTi6, these are cars that real drivers appreciate. We do too.

First class service and repair would use again. Arranged use of a courtesy car. Top notch. Would recommend.Mr Jim Hammett
This garage could have really ripped me off having delivered it with a suspect torque converter failure. After stripping out the gearbox they found it was only the drive coupling and replaced it. Excellent service.Dom Booth
