It is believed that around 80 of these spec cars are on the road today and are highly sought after versions of the iconic Mini. In 2010/ 11 EBH 243B underwent a documented and high quality restoration having been dry stored for 27 years. The result is an immaculate car with the correct interior trim, paint and mechanical components. This includes the factory specification wheels. There is a British motor industry Heritage trust certificate for this vehicle, a copy of this along with complete documentation of the services, parts, restoration and tax/ MOT certificates is available to view. Stated to have 8 owners, including the current owner who has had it in a collection since 2014 where it has been dry stored and regularly maintained. We welcome viewings and video walk round is available on request.
Only 963 of these Mini’s where produced by BMC for a limited period between 17 June 1964 – 5 April 1965, built to allow BMC to compete in the under 1000cc class of the period.
